K9 and Live Arico joint event.

It is so nice to see these two refuges working closely together these days, and our doggy friends benefiting from it. This is the email I received earlier today from Mikey of K9

This Saturday 26th May there is a benefit concert being held at the Top Square, San Blas Commercial Centre at Golf del Sur. It begins at 8pm and there is an all star cabaret with proceeds being split between K9 & Live Arico.

Sue from Live Arico has arranged the acts so we know it is going to be an excellent evening of entertainment.

We need lots of bodies to attend so please tell your friends about it, even if you are unable to attend yourself. Even if you are only able to spare an hour of your time, please come along and lend your support.

For those who understand such things, you might like to give it a mention on Facebook.
I look forward to once again meeting as many of you as possible.


I can only reiterate Mikeys comment, if SuzyQ has arrange the entertainment it will be the dogs so I think we will be giving it a whirl.

There trouble at mill with this one as theres someone trying to put a spoke in the wheels, The owner of one of the bars is trying to stop it according to facebook..

Can you keep us updated on that please Vera, as it would be a shame if we all trundled down there and found it was cancelled.

There's supposed to be a circular going out, im sure it will still take place its just one of the bar owners having a serious go at sue, but you could always contact sue and confirm, i am seeing sue tomorrow so if i know anything more i will put it on here for sure.

Say Hi to Sue for me and get her to join, like her.

Any new events going on here?

Friday 27th July. There will be a joint Live Arico/K9 Amigos Grand Summer Ball. It is being held at Vivo in Las Americas (formerly Treasure Island). There will be meal plus entertainment headed by the brilliant Bitter & Twisted. Further information will be released next week.
