I've been on his site earlier today. I'm challenging the council's assessment of my council tax. I'm in a block of 4 and all the others are a band below me.
Something not right. If I win this I'll get a rebate back to 1991.

Yeah the neighbours will come round and smack the shite out of you, for increasing their council tax by one band. :hang:

Haha! Yeah, I thought about that, but feck it! I've nothing to lose money wise.
Plus I followed, Martin Lewis's instructions and it appears I pass the "neighbour test" and also pass the "valuation test". That means I go onto a free housing price website and get the prices and dates of sales, I can then put those prices into a calculator and it tells me what band I should be paying based on house prices in 1991, which is when Council Tax started. That "test" says I should be a band lower as well.
