    Today you should start seeing a bit of a better exchange rate. I would not be surprised if places like Admiral are not offering 1.14 already.

    I think we are going to see a bit of a rise again, maybe 1.20 if we are lucky. This is typical for this time of year though.

    Looks like you could be seeing 1.145 or even 1.15 today......perhaps one of our people in Tenerife may tell us the top rate on the street.

    I use XE Currency .com as a yardstick. Take 2 cents off the official price for tourist rates.
    i.e. £1 = €1.16408 less 2 cents = €1.14408. It's usually pretty accurate.

    Hi Thrillseeker, yes and 1.53.
    It was not too long ago where it hovered between 1.42 and 1.47 for a long time.

    1.30 would be nice, a happy medium. I think we are due a drop and have been for a long time, don't think it will be long before we start seeing the 1.20 ish but it has had plenty of chance and then we back it.
