England didn't play well and topped the group...job done.
Terry was solid last night and Gerrard and Parker have been brilliant in the middle...fantastic captain's performance from Stevie G in particular...Rooney done what he does best and scored after missing that sitter..now he has a game behind him he can only get better.
I think they should play Walcott from the start against Italy as his pace will hurt them.
Downsides,Hart looks shaky,as have most the top keepers in this tournament.I don't like lescott,I think he is alright defending but ball at feet he craps himself and booted the ball into the stand a few times last night when he wasn't under pressure.
England are chugging along nicely and I think they'll beat the Italians.
