Yes Fluke was rubbish if that's the one about a dog/man, but he also wrote Magic Cottage, the Rats, The Secret of Crickley Hall

Bebo Valdes Aged 94 Cuban Jazz musician. (I've never heard of him either...) I like the last line...."The cause of Bebo Valdes's death has not yet been made public."

Best Prime minister we ever had, not saying she was right with everthing, but she had bigger balls than the rest of them, "Sail that ship in here and we will sink it" Yeh Yeh, bang, WTF ,

Re: New Dead Poet's Society.
RIP Maggie, many may not have liked you but while you were PM you turned Britain around from being the failure it was to being respected. Unlike the Americans you went to war because people needed you not for any gain. It's just a shame that those who have been in power since didn´t have the balls you had.

Re: New Dead Poet's Society.
A lot of good and a lit of bad, she did. Falklands, great move. Selling off industry, wrong move as she then gave them money, looked after her friends. Did make a difference though, but made loads of the problems we now see, bankers etc.

Re: New Dead Poet's Society.
Being from a mining family i remember it all too well, but as with Beeching Axe, while it may have been needed to a degree ad unions were grippljng the country It was they way things were done, communities left shattered & broken given no help what do ever by the government.
But as with religion, politics :Not me Guv:

Re: New Dead Poet's Society.
Just looking on another forum, there is a divide beginning to show. Roughly speaking, draw a line from Gloucester to Peterborough and those north/south will have opposite opinions
