THE JUNGLE PARK
Well the day started off with a free open top bus ride up the hills, the views were amazing, the journey only took about 15 minutes with the last lot of pick ups along the way.
This has to be the best photo of the day, it couldn't have worked out better, just as I arrived at the glass front of the cage this cat started to turn around and sit up I was well pleased.
These prehistoric beast's have never changed for thousands of years, they never moved you would have thought they were stuffed lol.
The king of the jungle an amazing sight to see, pity about the glass spoiling the photo's.
The Orangutan's had a really amazing enclosure, but still looked bored.
Its simples
There is lots of different hidden places for the kids to explore, you could start from the top of the park and follow these climbing frames and rope bridges all the way back down.
The gardens were fantastic and the whole park was spotless, the toilets everything was very impressive you could not fault it at all.
The tree top walks were amazing, and with the rope bridges it really made you feel like you were in a jungle, a great photo opportunity.
Yes that's an alligator below better watch your step lol.
Loved these small man made caves with the waterfall on the outside
To the annoyance of Debbie and Kate I was chasing a few insects and trying to get good close up shot's of them, I used the dynamic function for these and they came out pretty clear.
The penguins had a really good enclosure with an underwater viewing area, unfortunately they would not pose underwater for me lol.
Now to the prettiest animals on the planet as far as I'm concerned, I stood and watched these for ages, I'm fascinated with them.
THE BIRD SHOW
I couldn't believe how close they allowed you to get to these amazing birds, they were not in a cage but were perched with there leg restraints. They allowed some of these birds of prey to fly high above the park its a great sight.
This is the impressive seating area for the exotic bird show, the birds flew around the stadium it was brilliant and well worth watching.
This was a great family day out and not as expensive as I thought it would be, you could get vouchers from McDonalds which enabled two adults in for €24 per adult and a free child place or €18 per adult . We had a good 5 hours in the park I can really recommend this day out
