Do those guys (and gals) in La Gomera really tell each other where the €5 note is hidden in that restaurant with those whistling noises or have they seen it on a cctv camera somewhere?

I want to believe that they do communicate by whistling and not using cameras

It is for real. When I went on a visit we went to a restaurant and a young woman took my white cardigan and placed it on the back of someone else's chair then a guy came in and purely through whistling she guided him to where the cardigan was and he brought it back to me - not a word was spoken during the whole demo.

We do it too with collies when we send them out to herd in the sheep I suppose...( when I say "we", I mean farmers and talented people, not me...)
