I saw this in a restaurant once where they hid an object and someone using only silbo would direct another person to the place where it was hidden. Cool.

I can't whistle . That is great that the young are being taught it.

Funny being on about whistling, Had a turbo put on a mondeo on thursday, mate rang and said this blady car sounds like Roger Whitiker , Had to change it again,

I had an Escort years ago and all of a sudden it developed this whistle under acceleration. Spent hours trying to find it on my own. It wasn't there when the car was idling. Eileen wasn't much feckin help either, said she had to go shopping. 4 hours later, I had the exhaust off and was just about to take off the manifold. "Stop" says she when she saw the big job I was making of things. "What?" says I. She said, "I put a joke "whistler" into your exhaust for a laugh"!! ...... "%^^&*()&^%£$%&^%$£%&^$&" I replied.

I still bang the occasional patato up a students exhaust if they annoy me, the car either wont start or it makes a bang when it fly's out,
