Another meet up !!

I am so bad at checking the mobile for messages that I nearly missed this one.

We will be going out tonight for a meal with TD and Mrs TD but now PS will also be joining us (forgot he arrived yesterday). Have to decide where to eat, whether an Indian, Pizza or a nice steak we will leave that until we are all together - whatever we do we are then going on to see my mates Traveller Blues Band in LG. Looking forward to a good night.

I think everyone had a good time, we ended up as 6 people. TD, Mrs TD, PS, a guy called Gary, OH and yours truly. Decided to have a curry and it was lovely even though Vince bit into the chilli thinking it was a pepper that's his face afterwards from the heat, not that he was angry. We then went on to Route 66 and I think they enjoyed the music at least I hope so. Even if not everyone is into Delta/swamp blues they all knew the music in the electric blues session and everyone said what great musicians the band are.

Today I could be asking you to vote - Whiskey & Traveller are nominated for the Best Band in Tenerife in the TEA and will be opening the awards at 1.00 in Castle San Miguel so I hope you vote for them xxx,

Where exactly is Route 66, read all the praise for it but couldn't say I've ever seen or passed it.

Its up in Puerto Santiago Blyth, opposite the Barcelo Santiago. Best music bar in the area by far.

How long's it been thereas we've been there on holiday, albeit probably a good 10 years ago.

2nd photo down, the guy in the white shirt/blue jeans dancing with the lady in the white top/red skirt were our next door neighbours this summer. They were there the night i was supposed to meet you Gypsy. Is that "Old Dog's , New Tricks" playing cos I recognise the blonde singer from somewhere?

Yes that's Jill of Old Dogs, she was buying pizza last night when Bob spotted us and came in to say hello, they sing in the Barcelo Santiago on a Saturday night.
