The Cabildo, has designed a total of 16 routes (with a total of 20 when complete) that allow locals and tourists to enjoy self-guided tours through the most authentic rural parts ofTenerife.

Tenerife Rural routes itineraries cover Santiago del Teide and Masca, Buenavista del Norte, Valle de La Orotava, San Miguel de Abona, Valle de Guimar, Valle Guerra, Tejina and Tegueste, La Laguna, La Esperanza and El Teide; Tacoronte-Acentejo region, La Guancha and Icod, Granadilla de Abona, Fasnia-Arico, Arona-Vilaflor, La Matanza, La Victoria and St. Ursula, Garachico and Anaga Rural Park.
The proposed routes venture into rural landscapes and cover the main products and traditions of each of the areas, location of restaurants, hotels and even trails.
The objective of this initiative is to live an authentic experience both from residents and tourists not only through the landscapes and natural resources but also culture, wine and cuisine of the land, which contributes to enrich the work that Tenerife Tourism does with shows like "Tenerife, volcanoes of life" or "Taste Tenerife".
