Obviously you can hear the planes. If my Patio doors are shut you will barely hear a whoosh. If sat outside peeps just suspend conversation for 20 secs. You soon get used to it. The planes are so infrequent now there is no way its a problem. About 100m or less from the flight path I am. If you are real lucky I could get you a studio for £150 a week Kev, sometimes you might miss bits on the tele though........

I'm on the flight path for Leeds and Bradford Airport, I never notice the planes, but if somebody new to the area calls they stand and stare, I go its a plane
