I am deeply saddened to learn of the 'passing' of my old mate Bill Tarmey, he was a fine actor, a great singer, a true gentleman and made Jack Duckworth one of the best loved soap charactors of all time. God Bless Bill and R.I.P.

I have moved this thread as Bill Tarmey actually died this morning in Tenerife. RIP Bill, I always thought you were an excellent, natural actor.
