I'm in Palm Mar and we get our box updated with CSTI and yes we are getting BBC/ITV

We also get our box from CSTI and our signal bounces of La Gomera, (not Guaza) and we still have all of our 5 channels.

there will be no ´testing´ of the satellite but assignment of communication links, this could take less then 12 hours ... we expect a rapid change over of the UK PSB off of its temp satellite ASTRA 1N as it is wanted elsewhere
transfer of SKY CHANNELS off of ASTRA2B is not so urgent and i think it will happen after the start of the new WEST AFRICA (english) SERVICE

It is near as damn it in position now Vince. See here. It's latitude is more or less the equator or 0 degrees lat. Plus it is 22,000 + miles up in the air/space.

We get community Tv in my apartment. Mainly English, some Spanish Italian French Belgian and Dutch. Dont think there are any German ones. No doubt we will soon have a few Eastern European ones. I feel sorry for the Chinese residents. Still, helps them learn English eh.

what english channels do you get and do you have ´box´´ or do you just tune in your tv ...is there a BIG dish on your site

5 main channels plus itv2, eurosport, cbs drama, Gypsy would probably watch that, movies 4 men (more rubbish) a kiddies channel and probably a couple of others. I just plug aerial in wall, how the signal gets there is just a mystery.

If you take the plate off you'll see a wee hamster in a wheel behind it...
