information has comes to me that the re broadcasters have installed INTERNET TV next to their large dishs so they can still offer BBC/ITV after the switch next monday . i do not know if all their sites have done this or just the main ones ...

Does that mean someone like CSTI will automatically switch across?

I am not sure - how they are going to do it as i cant see how they are going to get phone access to the sites(esp villaflor.they could use a Wireless signal to bound off the transmitter??? unlike the other reports i have posted here these are just scuttlebuck .but it points to the future of paying someone a lot of money for a box when anyone with the internet can get so much more and cut out the ´´´middle man´´

Here is a clearer view of channels currently on Astra2F (two) and others which will be moving over on Tuesday 4th December...

any one report on their áerial box regarding channel5 ???

i was informed yesterday as i was installing his new internet tv system that the ´tv box´´ he had was missing C5 and ITV2 for over 5 days and that all they seem to have done to to move the channels they have lost on the old satellite to others on the old satellite
if thats all they are bothering to do then i dont know what they will do when BBC/ITV move ??

Have a csti box and only just switched on - seems we only have 1 channel and that is 5, thank goodness we are going out.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE
it seems that one of the rebrodcasters has switch off boxes for those that have not paid .the timing is very strange as BBC/ITV
could move satellite ANY DAY NOW
so please think CAREFULLY before handing over money as you might end up with nothing afterwards ....

Thanks P, I heard that last night but don´t know if it is Tenerife rumour or genuine - you know what the island is like nothing beats a good story. We don´t watch much telly so will give it a while to see what happens. Certainly not going to hand over my money to the German gent until I am convinced everything is OK.

That's probably why mine isn´t working, as I haven´t paid but fortunately there is very little I watch so at the moment not missing anything. Now tonights dvd is The Departed.
