Last Sunday I and 14 other members of various Tenerife groups and forums went for
a picnic in Los Cristianos. Everybody brought some delicious home made
food and drinks. We walked slowly (a total of 1.5 hours) by the beach
and sat on the grass, talked, laughed, practised different languages,
shared food, children played, and some of us even went for a swim. At
the end, we went for a beer at Paul´s cafe
behind the Swedish church.
We are thinking of repeating this next Sunday (25th) again, and the weather forecast sounds alright.
If you are coming along, or have any questions post something here, and
show up in front of Burger King in the centre of Playa Los Cristianos
at 1.30 PM.
It is very easy to get there: From Los Crist. central bus station ask
for the church square (iglesia catolica, white church) and from the
church continue down toward the beach until you see burger king to your
left.
We will wait until 1.40 PM in front of Burger King and then will slowly stroll our way to the picnic spot.
