My friend Jill of Old Dogs New Tricks sent me an urgent email today, she said we have found a lovely, frightened, Doberman pup in the street outside our house. It need to go to a refuge ASAP. I sent her a phone number but said the refuges were full so she had to use the correct procedure and go via the police as nobody would take it if she just turned up with another dog.
She has just come back to me. Our neighbour up the road has taken the puppy
