I am also out on 30th Jan with Patsy for a week. I do like these cheap flights you know. Where do you stay Searcher? Innit will probably be there too and Cunningham.

We are in Golf del sur this time, we were supposed to be staying in our freinds house but she got an offer she couldn,t refuse ,so as we had the flights booked we plumped for G.D.S. hope it will be o.k as we have only spent days there in the past

Val and I always fancied taking up bowls ,so a freind of mine who played for Scotland told us about the winter gardens so we may give the old bowls a good old bash[nudge ,nudge]

If you like it Searcher I have some friends who took it up but due to severe illness had to stop, they have all the gear and I am sure would let it go to a good home for pennies

Well you will not be far from me Searcher. Green Park is just up the hill from Winter Gardens. Cheapest bar on the Golf too. 1€ for a tea or coffee but as I see you are Scottish you are in luck, they sell spirits and pints for 1.50€, and entertainment 3 nights a week. Last orders 2am.........They have some top quality wines for a euro a glass too.

Since I was forced to sing Slades Christmas song last time I was thinking of giving it up, took me about 10 minutes to get my breath back.......

Re: Who's in Tenerife early January?
Too many sleeps to count but at least there is a countdown because we're booked up for December
Really missed not going prior to this Christmas sooo much it had to be done, 10 nights at Med Palace as a treat.
Wanted to be on TRG again but when we compared prices it was worth that little bit extra (and it wasn't that much extra either).
Still in out fave area and will still use McGuinness bar as our local really looking forward to next winter now.

Re: Who's in Tenerife early January?
McGuinness bar got a bad rep over the new year robbing people for drinks, €4,50 a pint according to Barry from Durham, And the poor bugger in my place was charge €19.50 for a pint a brandy and a white wine on new years eve, You can rob people once, We had 3 great weeks of weather,
