Tenerife trip January 30th.

Me and Patsy are off for a week to some sunshine on the 30th. I have talked her into doing the Masca walk for Tuesday 5/2. Anyway I wondered who else might be there. I know Mr and Mrs Innit will be there and you must all know where Yelas is by now.

I think it would be wise to give Yelas a miss on the night before the little walk so Patsy can have a nice early night.

No bars past the village Vince, downhill all the way.............get one of these for beer for the walk

Even the bars in the village only serve Sin Alcohol It's because of the winding road innit!!

Hmmmmm, I have investigated this Masca walkies a bit and even observed peeps getting off ferry in Los Gigantes and many were older than me and none looked totally fecked. Being as its obviously mainly downhill and I am a bit of an adventurist we will take a chance. There will be no room for beer in the rucksack Innit so if you wish to string along bring your own! There are of course numerous bars on the harbour side at Los Gigantes for a celebratory jar or two. The bad news is the nearest bus stop is about 1km away UPHILL! I feel a short taxi ride will suffice. Gypsy, we will have a hire car so we dont HAVE to go to Yelas!

They have done the port parking area up in Los Gig, you now pay.

Not to worry. I am parking at Santiago del Teide to get the Masca bus. Then when I get off the ferry catch bus back to there again.

If its called Bar Soto or something similar its where you get ferry tickets. The last boat doesnt leave until everybody is accounted for, allegedly.....
