Re: Favourite sounds
Just watched the film of Les Miserables for the 4th time and it's sensational. Always like the musical, so much so i recorded a little interlude of songs from it on my yamaha keyboard on the album i recorded for my wife and me's annivesary a couple of years ago. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Hope your friends enjoyed PLACERES Gypsy i had a great night there on the 19th of Jan, it was full and we had a party of 12 Irish, when i played an exerpt from Riverdance the whole lot of them lined up and did the dance, twas hilarious.

Re: Favourite sounds
We had a great time in Placeres and I have a review scheduled for 22nd (can´t do it earlier as there is so much carnival stuff and catching up to do) but Aidy said it was the best food he can ever remember having and while he picked the bill up expected it to be at least double!!
It wasn´t as full as usual which meant Christian could take his holidays and the night we were there Pablo was chef so exceptionally good yet he still found time to pull up a chair and chat - not only to us but others who were eating too.

Re: Favourite sounds
Thanks L.R. ....there's two and a half hours of uplifting and dramatic music in the show so trying to capture the essence of it all in 9 minutes proved quite challenging and the arrangement took me 2 days to score but i was pleased with the end result.

I enjoyed it Joel. As I love the film I was singing away with my head phones on

Re: Favourite sounds
Sounds a bit like this one. They are all jumping on the Mumford & Sons wagon.

I didn´t know that, you learn something new every time you visit this place. I did know that the dark one had a hell of a time because her father was a Nazi and her mother was branded as a traitor and she died when she was only a baby.

I can't figure that Dermo. She was born 5th April 1950, WWII was finished 1945...

Re: Favourite sounds
Nope, it was the other one. I just assumed the blond blue eyed one was what the Nazis wanted for their master race.
