....just miss judged the speed Mossie!
Plus the fact bikes take longer to stop
Than cars, and hitting the rear brake only,
Makes the bike skid, as it locks up the rear wheel
Hitting the front brake only will make
U pop a front wheelie or lock the front wheel,
Wot in turn will vault you over the handlebar!
So the only safe way to do a controled stop is
To squeeze the front brake, then rear brake
then more front brake! So it,s front - rear - front
    - clutch in foot down! (75% front and 25% rear)
Or just be a better rider and judge the traffic!!!

Easy to out brake yourself at them speeds, Gang of us use to go out sundays, very rare somebody didnt mess up,
Cousin bought a new bike and as usual we had a traffic light gran prix, he set off that fast he ran straight into the back of a tractor, big skid marks where he tried to stop, Too fast too soon, silly boy, Also we all stopped at a junction and the last man just ran into us all, we went down like skittles, Took his eye off the ball,
Safest thing is go out on your own, go in a gang and trouble is never far away, great fun but expensive , not just money,

When watching the bikers in video screw up it reminded me of a section in a book by Shane “Shakey” Bryne British Superbike Champion, the section reads something like this:-

On the morning of the race I had to do a few laps of the circuit with a fan on the back of the bike who had won the ride in a competition, met the guy in the pits, he was a biker and was kitted up in leathers helmet etc, off we set, it was obvious the guy was ok with a bit of speed so I began to wind it up a bit, as we came on to the long straight I pulled a wheelie to impress him, well it probably left a lasting impression, he fell right off the back of the bike,,, due to track rules I could not turn back, but saw track marshals rushing to his aid, as I pulled in to the pits the boss comes up to me and asks “where’s the passenger”, I reply “twat fell off”, as I say this a woman standing close by bursts in to tears, I ask boss “whose she”, boss replies “twats wife”...
