After a lovely afternoon in Paguera ( [code]review HERE )we thought we would pop along to Camp de Mar as we have no photos or reviews on the forum of this place. It wasn't too far away from Paguera so after waiting unsuccessfully for a local bus we decided to jump in a taxi which cost us €9.
On arrival we were dropped of at a very quite street and we headed down to the beach area..............
It was a very small place and not really the type of area I would like to spend my holiday but it was lovely and I can see why someone would want to live here, there was plenty of beautiful properties on the hills over looking the bay and yes I think I could live here for the piece and quite
Restaurant
Debbie was told by a friend about this lovely restaurant on a small rock with a bridge leading to it, it wasn't hard to find with the resort being so small.
So along the little bridge we went.
##
Lots of great photo opportunities from the bridge
So sitting down and taking in the views with a cold one along the way.
I was starting to feel it, I could actually see why someone would want to come to a place like this, it was breath taking looking at the hills and rocks with all the lovely trees and plants.
So summing up this resort its not a place I would like to spend a week in as a main holiday, I would probably be bored after a day but it was a lovely place to visit.
I could imagine living there though on one of them properties on the hill's over looking the bay, wow that would be amazing.
We got a taxi back to Palma Nova which cost us just short of €20, we never sampled the food but the prices were mostly based on sea food in the restaurant on the rock and started at about €9 for a small dish.
Would I go back, well once you have spent 2 hours there you have probably seen it all but it is a nice place to go for a romantic meal or a few drinks for a change.
