India / Pakistan Border ceremony

This is colourful and hysterical.

This is how the border between India and Pakistan is closed every evening. It is not a Monty Python comedy skit, but it does resemble one.

The first troops you see are Indian. Then the Pakistanis come on, quite fiercely. Keep in mind that both these countries have nuclear weapons.

For crying out loud, but when you look at our lot outside buck house who are we to mock,
Changing of the guard - who they guarding Police do that, well sometimes maybe,
Tradition -what a load of nonsense, expensive too

It is strange how they do it

what is the point in this facade?
