hi to everyone from bonny Scotland and that im off to Tenerife on the 30th april for 12 days,never been their before so I was wanting some advice where to eat and what I can do during the day and what is the weather like for that time.thanks oscar

As LR says a bit of info will help us help you. Also likes and dislikes, ie waterparks, walks, beaches, are you driving and of course types of food. Also good to know taste in entertainment.
The weather at the moment is fantastic, 31 degrees today in the South and warm this evening, 22 at the moment. It should only improve on this.
Let us also know if you have transfers arranged from the airport as we can advise on best ways for this.

hi topdog thanks most things I like are English food such as fish,steak pie the usual things ive got transfers arranged with my travel agent....I was looking on the web at weather guides they are all different lol,im mostly just going for a relaxing holiday with the wife first time weve been away together abroad

Click on the "Hotel" link below my post and you'll see it in Grid D6. You are only 1 minute away from Veronicas and Starcos. Hope you like clubbing into the wee hours! lol! You have a whole load of bars just outside your apartments, Linekers, Yates, Murphys, Fitzpatricks, Wigan Pier etc. Loads of places within minutes for eating too.

hi yes my mum and dad were their in December and they were never out of the wigan pier they loved it.....will it get warmer at the end of april into may just to what factor suntan loation to take.have any of you guy heard about the Hacienda del Sol

Ok, well I am going to say this but others will vouch for it, my son is Chef at a bar named Lazy Daze, not far from you.Best Cod and chips aound and the Fillet Steaks are perfecto. He also makes his own Burgers which are stunning and hand cut, triple cooked chips. Not expensive either.
Cam(LR) is good with maps.
Better than Veronicas, in my mind for your age group is Dubliners, which is down the hill turn left and a 5 min walk.Don't really get going till about 1 am.
Many bars have entertainment and lots have great prices during the day, sometimes a bit dearer in the evening as it covers entertainment. Should get good beer for 1.50euro per pint.
Exchange again down hill do a left, Parque Santiago 2, best rates I know. about 7-10 mins walk but nice bars on the way.
Do make sure you explore as plenty to see.
Take the wife to Safari Centre and when there walk down past the the big blue hotel (Med Palace) and check the beaches out. The walk from ther is lovely.
If you want a Casino, out of your gaff, down hill to seafront walk and keep going to the right for about 10 mins.
Bus Station just up the road, buses very easy to use and taxis not a bad price.
Siam Park is a must and simply one of the best water parks in the world, make sure you use sun cream as you will burn if not.
Best Chinese for me is at Peurto Colon(4 EURO IN A TAXI)in Slow Boat, others have their favs.

hi yes that's basically what all they say in on the web about the hotel to be honest I think it still is basic.

topdog I think ill give youe sons place a good go as it sound nice.

If you look for the Noelia Sur hotel Lazy Daze is one of the bars just up from it on the same side. Check my link.
Remember though all the food is cooked fresh so it is not over quick, makes his batter and burgers to order and nothing is pre cooked.
Some good entertainment too, we were there a couple of weeks back and I saw Vanessa Viagra, she is a lady that does two different shows and asks the audience whih one they want. One is blue and the other is 60's music, but she is good and mostly its the blue show. I also saw a guy called Topaz, absolutely fantastic singer, does everything and Michael J Grant, whos is a white soul singer.
In the afternoon they have some entertainment now as well. but if you just want to chill you can also do that.

I really hope you are enjoying our little forum Oscar, we are quite new to this game (having been ostracised from everywhere else) but us ostriches stick our heads in the sand and just do our own thing anyway - we are very different to any other forum as we have so few rules, the main one is, YOU WILL ENJOY YOURSELF and we may have the odd discussion but they never ever get personal and nasty.
