Also noticed that house in the background, not rendered and painted. Think they do that to avoid paying tax claiming its un-finished. High time they changed the rules. Far too many like that in Tenerife, scruffy. Bath time, goodnight.

Re: new to this
That one is actually being done but yeah many are, if not finished they don't pay tax, so they leave a wall somewhere. You would if it meant avoiding tax.

Don’t listen to them, their all mad, mad I tell you, mad, but you will enjoy, and as said the Dubliners a must, plus the Claddagh and the Irish Times, last two are a taxi ride from where your based, but worth it, just make sure you don’t fry yourself on the first few days...

The only sports shop I would use would be Intersport which are a large chain in many areas or Decathlon in La Laguna. Anywhere else is likely to be knock-off.

Re: new to this
See Gypsy's link earlier for excursions. Many good places to eat. Depending on what you fancy that day.
Dont forget to try Lazy Daze, Cod and Chips, Sea bass, Steak and homemade burgers. Try all those, then the pork and chicken.
