Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes is in scathing mood, telling BT Sport he "would be sat with my head between my hands after that performance."
He adds: "I've tried so hard to defend this team, but each week it gets harder. Every time I come to Old Trafford it's negative football.

they weren't booed off at half time. It was only van gaal that got booed at full time. The team was actually applauded off. also, don't know about thousands leaving early, hundreds maybe. first time I noticed peeps leaving was bang on 76 minutes. They must have been really worried about traffic

Me and my mate were watching the match in my local, way before the 76 minute everyone in the pub was well pissed off, all United done was get the ball, progress to Sheffields penalty area then stop,,, it was as if they'd been told don't go in there,,, all the talk in the pub was about their style, or lack of it in the way they were playing,,, with thirty minutes left to go we're needing another pint, my mate says lets get out of here we'll go to the Wheatsheaf, pub just round the corner from the local, I ain't to happy as its been pissing down all day and don't need a shower,,, anyway he convinces me, reminding me that the pub puts a DJ on in one half with the football on the tellies in the other half, so a bit totty to survey,,, so off we head,,, no feckin DJ on, so ended up in a more more depressed pub than we'd just left...
