I´ve just watched the above programme and I can recommend it. Owing to anti-social behaviour, mafia activities and money laundering, the Russians have made some tourist destinations less desirable than they used to be. I only need to mention Cyprus, the Turkish Riviera, Egypt, and the French Riviera. Are the Canaries, in particular Tenerife, the next destination to join the list? (yes, the estate agents are rubbing their grubby hands and gearing up accordingly)

And there will quickly be Russian Estate Agents to look after them. As to whether they will be more corrupt than the present crop remains to be seen. When I bought I used a Spanish firm who were as good as their word but I had already heard stories about some of the British ones and that was 12 years ago.

Re estate agents, I once suggested to one that he should clearly mark his apartment offers in the internet with "residential" or "touristic" so that potential buyers could see right from the start whether they can let on a short-term basis or not (illegal letttings issues). The reponse I received was "Don´t tell me how to run my business!" Such arrogance!

Totally agree with him Dronny, don't tell him how to run his business, otherwise he might get a good name.

The one I used spoke perfect English and was always on time. Delta Metropolitan.

Perfect English is extremely rare these days, particularly combined with punctuality. Is he clear on his "touristic" and "residential" policy?

I kinda remember reading something along those lines a long while ago.

It wasnt a problem years ago so SHE never said. As it happens its touristic anyway, not that I care.

Then you may well remember which agent it was, right? (no names!)

Thinking of his surname reminds me that I didn´t vote today! I´ve almost got a bad conscience, but I didn´t know anything about the candidates - I don´t believe in voting just for a political party. I suspect that UKIP will have done well.

Hey Dronny, polls dont shut until 10pm. Go and vote, doesnt matter who the candidate is, this is a chance to change the face of British politics. I have voted. There was the usual 3 plus the interesting party. UKIP----->

Sorry mate, no chance, as BASEL have just popped one in against Chelski and now the match should heat up a bit after a disappointing first half.

Yep! My prediction came true! Raffa must have given the buggers a roasting in the break - I know I would have done!!! Anyway, it´s Chelski v. Benfica on the 15th I believe. Nevertheless, there was a big difference in quality between the Germany v. Spain matches, don´t you think PS?

Yep, good win for Chelski. If I was a betting man, which I'm not, my money would go on Benfica.
