Is it poverty, upbringing, lack of education, unemployment or something else?

Last Saturday week, a bloke I know, his missus was stabbed to death by their 25 year old son. The guy was chased off by a passer-by but came back a few minutes later with a brush for a second attack. The family is very well respected, reasonably comfortably off, Father a school principal. The son is now being held in the Central Mental Hospital in Dublin (our Broadmoor) for psychiatric assessment. As of yet, no one seems to know why he did it?????

I think that thought crosses everybody's mind when those kind of things happen. I never believe it when the users keep saying it has no long term effect. They just haven't got it.

If someone has the Bipolar problem it might lay dormant waiting for a trigger, quite often drugs are that trigger. Anything that has an Hallucinogenic effect will bring this out.

I think if we knew what makes a criminal we could then try and prevent them committing a crime
