    Police are looking at hiving off the problems of dealing with drunks to the private sector,,, mmm, speed cameras, parking clampers etc come to mind...
    So if your deemed to be drunk, you get locked up for the night, then have to pay somewhere between £200 to £400 to get out in the morning, where the feck they putting you up, the Hilton...

    Don't like this idea, drunks who fight, arrest... Drunks who are to pissed to know what their doing, choice taxi home (be it a special drunks taxi) at a cost, the choice being home or jail... 
    My concerns on this one is theres just the possibility of a profit for a money making conglomerate that just see £300 a drunk as a licensed to pick anyone up whose just been out spending their hard earned cash on a good night out..........

    Kill it dead now, to much nanny state, get the real criminals you good for nothing UK cops going for the motorist and not the real criminals, just give us working folks a break...
