Does anybody know anything about this complex ?.

There's a possibility we could get out to the rock for a short break leading up to Christmas and fancy LC, this place is coming up very reasonably priced and gets decent reviews in TA.

Its up the hill I know but is there much around there ?

Any of our residents help ?

Yeah, big hill. I do know there are extremely cheap flights though. Guess you know that already.  Castle Harbour, LC 3025408739
Taxi home is the answer. €5 from town.

Castle harbour is a nice place BS. As you say, it's up the hill but we stayed in Los Diamantes a couple of times up there and I used to walk home pissed! Nearest places for drinks are Mirador strip halfway down the hill or there's the Apolo centre about the same distance to the west. (Only about a 10 minute stroll). Apolo centre is a bit "dated" in my opinion though, could seriously use a good make-over. 10-15 minutes will see you at the beach front where all the bars/restaurants are. If you get a good price, I'd say go for it.Castle Harbour, LC 294053457

I know it !!!    OH's hairdresser lives there.  It is half residential, half touristic so you would be legal Castle Harbour, LC 3025408739 It is very nice, of course depends which apartment you get I only know the 1 bed which is quite small. The have nice pool and a bit of entertainment on the complex not much and a pool bar.

You are within easy reach of the Mirador Strip that has bars and entertainment, just a short walk to centre of Los Cris maybe 15 mins max.  Beach 10 mins there 15 coming back.  News of a new 7 day week market being worked on at the moment by the Paradise Park.  I personally would go for it if it is a good rate.

I have very good friends who used to live there and it is nice but yes hilly, there used to be a good bar out the front and one round the back next to slow boat
I know of a very reasonable apartment I stayed in at sunlanders, I could try get a contact for you. As for Apollo, I believe it is getting a makeover at the moment, all retiled inside.

Here is a little game called "beat the hill"

When you come to Dinastia reception, take the lift up to the pool, walk past the pool and bar and go to the lift on the other side this will take you to the level where you exit the complex right next to castle harbour [ please don't tell anyone I told you]

P.S forgotten the level you have to get off at on the second lift 1 or 2 methinks ,it's been a while since last stay there

One of the benefits of being a swallow Cam you learn loads of shortcuts, you need a bit of a brass neck though but once you've stayed there for a couple of months it's easy

Oh ,just remembered you need a key to get out at the top of the complex , but hey that's a minor point

Can't stand it Gypsy least favourite sport but its only a relax in the winter 20 degree sun so as long as there are bars & restaurants it would do us BUT its likely we'll go through a fee options before booking probably book flights tonight there dirt cheap

Nowt wrong with GDS Gypsy. Aguamarina I guess you are looking at or the one next to that. Overlook the 'beach' and Marina. Few restaurants round there but avoid the Mexican one. 483 bus to Los Cris and LA €1.80 and €2.30 with a bono card. Goes straight there down the Motorway. Bus Stop other side of Winter Gardens. Planes wont be noisy in that bit either. Cab from Airport is €15 with tip, they tend to add that bit themselves. Castle Harbour, LC 3025408739

Cabaret place is Volares, not been there but have heard nowt bad. Wild Geese is a supposed Irish bar, shows sports etc. Twinned with the one opposite my place, Grandee O'donnells. Beer aint cheap so I dont bother, if 'entertainments' on its bound to be second rate too. Best stick to Volares then. Castle Harbour, LC 3025408739
Dont forget my local, Sundowners Bar. Other side of the block opposite O'Donnels. Cheap booze and free entertainment Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday 9pm. Open til 2am too.
