ryan air baggage charges

Clutching at straws here but I thought I would ask my old buddies on  T F O F their opinions,
We bought and paid for our flights out to Tenerife on Jan 14th we also paid for checked baggage at the rate of £ 60 per bag.
My question is  do we have any chance of getting a refund on our checked bags as the new rate of £ 30 starts on the 5th of Jan,just thought I would test the water before going any further

 

Well you could try I suppose, I wouldnt start getting excited.

Wouldn't think so Bill. It would be like cheaper flights coming out after you had already booked yours for more. Don't think you'd get a refund there either.

 Not a hope. They will tell you that you can always cancel your first booking and rebook then. Trouble is, the flights will probably be twice the price.

I can buy 10 pairs of Jeans for £60 in George at ASDA.

Yesterday I got a Thomson flight off their site £98 return. Filled in all the details and card and that and on the confirmation it said Birmingham.   Shit, I thought I was booking one from East Midlands! Luckily its only about 10 miles further but it could have been bloody Edinburgh or somewhere. Take care peeps...

How do you get to the airport Vince? Would it not be cheaper ( taking into account travelling costs) to go from Stansted?

No costs Dermot   Chip fat in the Merc diesel and has his own parking sorted out    

Stansted is nearest about 65 miles, East mids is 85 Birminghams about 95. Not much in it really. East Midlands is best, its small and has a Smoking Zone!
