Two elderly ladies in their 80s from Tenerife proved this week that you’re never too old to try something new when they went paragliding.
The two plucky old ducks, sisters aged 85 and 82, took to the sky on tandem flights, launching from 2,200m up in the mountains, before coming safely to land on the coast near Güímar.
Both ladies, who now hold the record as the oldest paragliders in the Canary Islands, said they enjoyed their flight and would (maybe) do it again.
