Fantastic Dundee Cake

As I said first thing we are off to see Les Mis in a bit and rather than eat when we get back or eat early we decided to have a decent lunch.

Yesterday I got a huge present from TD which consisted of loads of goodies, including a home made Dundee Cake. As we have just run out of anything sweet J and I had a large slice of this a few minutes ago and it is the best I have ever taste. Far better than anything bought, far better than anything I could have made (and if I say so I am quite a good cook).

If anyone is visiting and is in the offing for a get together with Mr and Mrs TD try and make sure she has made a cake so you can sample it. It is a winner. I am also taking my Ferrero Rocher with me to munch through the show, I know these will be safe as OH doesn´t like them!!!  

I gave Kev some left over stuff when we left    Cheeky bugger

Glad you enjoyed it Gypsy. May I just say that Gypsy and J bought Jan a wind chime and when I have had new Kitchen done I will put some heavy structure in the ceiling to put it up. It is really nice no wonder their luggage felt heavy. I have a really nice Levis leather wallet, problem is it is empty.

Wind chimes, bit like wind turbines, fetching useless,,, girl I went out withs neighbour had a set hanging from their living room window, which just happened to be next to girlfriends bedroom window, would seam the neighbour wasn't that good at DIY, the annoying feckin' things fell off,,, and ended up tangled in a bush in the garden a few floors below, shame...

  

Well done. And if anyone out there hasn't removed their silly Xmas lights by now you've got 12 months of bad luck.........

We took our lights and decorations down last year!
