Oh bloody Hell, I would love to read the Seaton Carew series as that is where I was born,brought up. and did all my courting (at the Blue Lagoon!!) and couldn´t wait to escape. Perhaps I feature in one of your short stories.

Hi Gypsy,

Thanks for the website plug.  The character had two roots (excuse the pun on Seaton's behaviour) 1) is the infamous canoeist from SC - when this was on TV I just kept hearing a person's name rather than a place, and 2) the craze for naming children after where the deed was done.  Sorry to say I'm not from the area, but a self exiled Brummie!  Still hope you enjoy the previews or short stories you've downloaded!  Pat

Have you been back recently?  Have to say it's been a few years since I have but hardly recognised the place!  Mind you my last days living there were when the Bull Ring was just finished and the 'New' in New St Station meant what it said!!  God I'm ancient - lol.  Oh and Gas Street basin was full of rusting shopping trolleys and the like, not trendy pubs and coffee shops.  What is the world coming to???

I have not been back for many years. I have never seen the New bullring.I have no wish to visit there.When I did go back I did notice changes.

We used to go every year to do our Christmas shopping, cheaper than South coast and great atmosphere at Christmas time.

I have also downloaded it, don´t have a kindle but just did the thing for laptops and everything seems easy peesy

Ouch, first review on Amazon 3/5 with very good bits and not so good bits.  But very welcome!  LoL does assume readers remember a bit of history - I thought if I repeated them all it would turn into War and Peace!!  Google some of the events - they all happened (well nearly all) even this one - http://archive.adl.org/tycoons/origins.html and the chips that fried at Chernobyl.  Keep downloading for free!
