    Does anyone fancy a one or two night break in York at The Moxy Hotel £40 a night or £45 for Friday & Saturday each brand new hotel ( Dosnt open till end of this month )near The Shambles so central.
    It includes breakfast & a river cruise so a good deal .
    Maybe October or November do some Christmas shopping or have it as our Christmas get together , let me know what you think  Short Break in York 4248600970 x

    I'm going to have to delve into this. Scotrail don't do timetables past September yet and they are nearly £200 for tickets. Park & Ride don't let you stay overnight. I'll have to see if I can find somewhere close(ish) to park. Book it for me and Mermaid anyway Carol, we'll get there somehow! Short Break in York 3025408739

    What about the designer outlet ? can you leave the car there and free bus it into York  - also

    We have left the car down Piccadilly in one of the car parks and walked up where i think the hotel is If i remember it was £8 all day, we could have a whip round for you Short Break in York 2472758156

    You can get trains cheap 12 weeks before your date but you must ring that morning & you can get them for £5 sometimes Short Break in York 3560214530 x

    No no no there is no car park it is a brand new hotel that is being built in a old walled city where space is limited & no one drives into hardly anyway.
    Just park car parks on google charge £3 a day  Transport  x

    Just rang the hotel, Shambles at Q parks is the nearest to the hotel & they give you a discount voucher for parking x
