Hello Allan from Linwood Scotland , will be visisting Tennerife in June the 24 th this year 2014 Costa Adeje with my grandkids and wife looking forward to seeing the island !

Hello Allan, and from me too.
You should get a SIM card in either a Vodaphone or Movistar shop, DO NOT buy from any tourist shop that sell cigarettes, drinks and soveniers, they are often run by the Asian community and you will probably not get what you are paying for. I am having problems at the moment thinking where Playa Real is but if I remember correctly DO NOT buy from the Thursday/Saturday market either.
There will probably be a shop in San Eugenio and there is one in El Camison called Iteal where they are really helpful as well as a Vodaphone and Movistar all near the Marolo Portosin apartments but look in several of the commercial centres that are closer before buying just keep away from the guys who sell everything and use a proper phone shop.
