During my lengthy 45 years in the motor trade i have come across allsorts of wildlife in cars etc,
Pheasnts, crows, seagulls all stuck in the grill or headlamps - yuk, some still alive,
Inside the cars, rats mice and once a blady snake, feck me
, I have recovered cars with horses in them, dead as well as the poor kent that was driving it 
so a few blackbirds or robins aint really that bad, That car that was burnt out how did they know it was nesting birds

Back to smells in cars, had a Mini, started getting bad smell inside, few quid spent on them green tree things, still no good, put brain in gear, had a look at heater air intake, dead bird, was small enough to go through grill, but not heater air intake mesh...
Bit garlic, a few mushrooms and a bit cream, nice starter...
