Well here is my review of Playa De Las Americas .

As usual the review has to start with me having some light refreshments in the airport.



Part 1) Safari Centre.

Main centre of Playa De Las Americas is called the Safari Centre and its a lovely place to be, nice posh restaurants and bars, this photo was taken from the top bar in Hard Rock Cafe.






Kate bought a T-Shirt so that was that night's beer money gone lol.



The girls were giving me a heart attack going to all these posh places lol





Harry's Bar in the background a firm favourite of Debbie and Kate. Lovely bar great views but pricey.










Lots of posh shops in this area selling all the top brands.



The area has a lovely upmarket feel and was squeaky clean. 







Part 2)

PDLA Beach / Coastal area's



The beaches around PDLA are some of the finest Ive visited, lovely and clean and vast.



They stretch on and on, go one way and your heading towards Los Cristianos go the other way and you head towards Fanabe



Lots of bars retaurants and shops along the coast.













The many beaches change as you walk along and go from fine sandy areas to rocky areas, lots of little areas to explore.













As you can see all the properties within PDLA on the coast look stunning.



It just goes on and on its lovely I never got bored strolling along.











This small beach which was round the corner from our apartment was particularly lovely













Not sure if this is PDLA or Los Cristianos as its on the border but it had some greats bars and rstaurants, we tried a few of them.

Lovely, thank you.  San Telmo is officially in Los Cristianos and Las Americas starts just after the Vista Sur shopping centre, but I dont think either town are too bothered as they are both proud to be associated with it.

What I do find funny is you saying how nice, clean and posh Las Americas is, yet those who just 'think they know it' always say full of yobs and lager louts and the best place is Costa Adeje which IMO is a bit of a dump by that I mean, Puerto Colon, Playa Paraiso, Callao Salvaje.... wouldn´t like to stay in any of those.

Forgot to mention - do those two good looking women belong to you - I didn´t see any sign of their dog or white sticks in any of the photos.

It is a very nice area, we did venture up by Veronicas and yes I would say that was not as nice and full of the drunken revellers lol, didnt like it at all TBH.

Think it would be hard to beat anywhere from Safari Centre onwards towards Los Cristianos up the coast, its a fantastic walk and we never got bored with it. Some great bars and Restaurants.

Next year we dont know where we are going, we have now done alot of the main big tourist resorts in spain so they will be hard to beat. I will be back again but need to try other places now.

Very good write up that Daryn. Now according to Titsa Los Cristianos ends at the main bus stop. Thats where I got turfed off the bus on Monday.......    Had to get another bus then to Lazydaze, 10 centimos it cost.
