Nobody gets up early in Tenerife, I asked my mate to take me to the airport at 10.45am once, he said no chance, we dont get up til about 1 oclock.

Is he a night worker? that would be reasonable but if not sheer laziness on his part. You are wasting the day getting up that late.

He used to work for Freebird jeep safaris until about 2 years ago when that went belly up. Being my age he has since been unemployed apart from a bit of film work. Very sad really, folks should be able to work if they want to, all down to those greedy bankers.......

I had been lying there since 10.30 and was getting so restless it would only annoy Cam so got up and came on the forum.

I think I'm the only one in Tenerife that gets up at a reasonable time (5 - 7am) it's the best time of the day you know
