Thanks T, I brought my kids to Cobh a few years ago to visit the Titanic museum ( the last place Titanic docked before crossing the Atlantic ) but it had closed down. Its very hilly there but the views are fantastic!!

Blimey, I'm sorry for the fippent remark for sure, Sat her in blighty watching tv as a lad all we got was northern ireland this northern island that, I used to think whats that all about, To me irish are irish what the hell are they fighting for, Probably where my hatred of religion started, When your not in it, You dont understand it, I never will, Seems a load of grief for nothing, But then i dont get football either, I used to have two sets of irish nieghbours, At a party one night somebody sang the wrong song, Two women ended up fighting like blokes, They never spoke to each other again ?, Also i dont think irish are any thicker than anybody else, Its all them jokes, You may end up believing it, Lifes too short for trouble, I know more about the troubles in ireland now, Like you say, On any other forum it would have vanished, And i for one wouldnt be more educated on other peoples problems, I once mentioned religion, and world war 3 broke out, Religion ?, No thanks, Ever,

My Patsy is of Irish descent and Catholic. I was told to be a Methodist and sent to Sunday School. Even then I knew it was all blox. We have lived together in reasonable harmony for 36 years. Good job we dont live in N Ireland, we would have been shooting at each other. And I have little doubt it will all go off over there again sooner or later. I personally think religion was invented to keep the population under control and to scare them into towing the line........

Whether it was invented to keep people in line, its certainly used to do just that in some places these days. Its strange but Ireland has become the most anti Vatican country in europe. No harm either!
