What is going on in the UK??????? Are they really trying to bankrupt all small businesses. I can just see Reg, having to pay his Irish guy an extra 500 quid for each and every holiday he has taken since 1988. Bonkers.

I think you'll find there will be an appeal against the decision. How can you pay OT that hasn't even been worked?

My old job had holiday pay based on the average earnings over the previous 13 weeks. We would always work as much overtime as we could to boost the pay. Is this not what they are on about here??

I don't do OT so I won't be getting any either. 5 days a week is enough!

Part time workers are entitled to holiday pay too Reg, if hes legit which I doubt. Otherwise you would have known. What about Zero hours contracts. That seems to be the latest scam for employers. One of my lads had to ring up everyday to ask if they wanted him at 6am, think it was Amazon.

The mice will be pleased. Yesterday I stopped at services on M25 to let the dog have a wee. Well, he was on a mission cos service stations are crawling with rats, if you visit one overnight you will see them everywhere climbing in the bins. His tail goes straight up and just twitches at the end, this is hunting mode.

Talking of hunters a new young cat has taken to patrolling my land, I tell it buzz off and it just looks at me. Even seen it coming through the back door. Patch better keep an eye out, it will eat his dinner up cos he just nibbles at it now and again. Usually just before walkies time, in one end, out the other.....
