Interviewer asks atheist Steven Fry what would say to God if they ever met at the pearly gates. Brilliant

Calling a spade a spade! Go on him! Btw, thats Gay Byrne, the ex host of the longest running chat show in the world. He is in his 80's now. His accountant fecked off with his money a few years back and he had to come out of retirement. Wonder why Spephen Fry likes us so much? He was over 3 weeks ago presenting the "Person of the Year" award. He also appeared in a native Irish ( language) soap opera here, speaking Irish!.

When we lost our grand daughter Iona , I said to my mother " If there is a god he is a pure bar steward" shortly afterwards my mother died a horrible death due mainly to shingles just to prove my point

How come we are called Athiest ? Normal more like,
Irish Pat the decorator has been preaching about mothers non funeral, Says she should be buried
Well she aint Catholic for a start, she's only dead, next court appearance being March, and that has feck all to do with her arrangements, If i have to repeat myself there isnt a court in the land that will tell you what to do with a person, burial or cremation, So as loony brother says while ever he is alive mother will not be cremated, so the take on that is mother isnt getting cremated or buried anytime soon, I have learnt to live with it, Next court appearance is to sue the solicitor for gross incompetance, he wont win that one either, like the last 2 hearings, If that aint loony i dont know what is

Advertising........ Commercial vehicle insurance required? What interested me more was the extra cigarette lighter/12v connector in the back........... Freddies car has an extra stick on rear view mirror (required now for driving test), does that make his learners insurance invalid? Good job I never fitted those alloy wheels........

Re: He would fit in well on this forum.
Ha ha, I know this is going to sound strange to you Irish and Scottish peeps but in England we dont give a shite whether someone was born a Catholic or a Protestant, makes no difference whatsoever. And just to prove the point I was sent to a Methodist church as a kid and Patsy was taught by some evil Nuns in a Catholic school in Walthamstow. I have no idea what our four kids would describe themselves as, I have never asked them..........

Re: He would fit in well on this forum.
I dont much like Fry, but it takes a brave man to stand up and tell them how it is,
You cant win in a situation like that, no medals for the truth teller Ducking stool years ago.
I think anybody in the public eye should keep their beliefs to themselves, Queen and PM for sure,
People that are easily led will think they must be right because they are important people,
We are seeing more and more of youngsters that are brainwashed from an early age, and what they are willing to do for religion,
Ban all of it and lets get on with making the planet a better place to live,

Re: He would fit in well on this forum.
We couldn't give a shite over here either Vince, at least not in the south. Its up North that the bible bashers are active but even thats beginning to fade out. It used to be the case that you were asked what school you went to when interviewed for a job up there. If it was a Catholic school, you didn't get the job, simple as. I put up that video to show what religion as a whole is like, not necessarily Catholicism specifically.

Cam went to the Library and asked for a bible. The guy spoke to him for 15 minutes about the local church gatherings, Cam then put the book on the floor and stood n it so he could rech the second shelf for 50 shades of grey for Mermaid.
