Owing to a greta post on here I represented my case against Thomas Cook for a 6 hour delay. This was after being turned down due to them saying it was a technical issue and out of their control. I cited the case I was advised and today I had an email from them offering me 590 gbp in Thomas cook vouchers against a holiday, in full and final settlemant, now what they did not ralsie is I also had a email from CAA and it said I sould take money or vouchers conning bar stewards, so I told them I want money not vouchers.

It will just put the price of flights up if everybody catches on and seeing as you are well ahead in the airmiles this year Kev its hurting your pocket more than most.

Quiz we do on a Tuesday night, there was a regular team of two guys and a girl, then they stopped coming, then after a bit one guy and the girl turned up again, we ask where's the other guy, very embarrassed looking faces on both of them, we push the question,,, eventually were told, guy worked in a school as procurement manager, as such he was in charge of a storeroom full of computers, printers, projectors, TV's, etc,,, storeroom was a bit over stocked he thought, so he started selling stuff off on eBay, sales were good, a punter turned up one day to pick up a printer, punter asks for him by name at reception, he was off ill or something that day, receptionist asks if she can help, " I'm here to pick up the printer I bought on eBay",,, alarm bells start to ring.....
