    Waterworks Empty Waterworks

Post by Campbell Brodie Mon 8 Jun 2015 - 9:25

Off to the docs in a mo. I've now got frothy bubbles at the end of a pee and blood is showing in urine. I got a "flexible cystoscopy" on 28th May and they saw "something" on the wall of my bladder. Doctor says it looked like my bladder and bowel were "stuck" together, so she put me down for an urgent CT scan...never heard a thing from the hospital since. Pre the cystoscopy there was no froth or blood. Waterworks 3275847336 I've been off sick a week now so I have to get a doctor's line for work...laters. Hi

Told GP about the wait for the CT scan, she phoned hospital to see what the delay was...X-Ray department have no record of it... Waterworks 1498946960 feckin' shambles! GP can see it on her computer! Anyhoo she has re-submitted an "urgent" request (where have I heard that word before) for another CT scan saying symptoms are getting worese. She thinks it's a Vesico-colic fistula. Basically my bowel and bladder have stuck together and a tunnel (fistula) has opened up between the two. Frothiness/bubbles is gas from bowel escaping into bladder...signed off for 4 weeks from today, but it's open-ended all depending on CT scan results and any operations necessary.

I'm now punted over to another doctor who deals with "colo-rectal" stuff. He's on holiday for 3 weeks so nowt happening until he gets back.I asked if he was the doctor that would be doing the op and they said yes. Feckin' shambles innit...(The CT scan confirmed the Colovesical fistula).
