The Olive Garden, Los Cristianos
Does anyone know how I can walk ( and if its far) from the car park near the ferry port to The Olive Garden restaurant. Also, what is the address of the car park ( so I can find it on Google maps). Thanks!

Re: The Olive Garden, Los Cristianos
Personally I wouldn't park in LC Port (Google will find it as Puerto de Los Cristianos) I would go past the Arona Gran to where the new beach bar is and where the motorhomes park. It is free and IMO closer.

Just park by the roundabout by Comodoro, loads of space round there.

Yes Adam, it looks really nice from what I could see from the road on Wednesday, I was at the hairdressers today and was told that where the bar is now there used to be an enormous open air nightclub that used to be held on a weekend. Can anyone remember it? I have never heard of it before.Adam Mint wrote:Is that the nudist beach bar Gipsy...

Tried to find this place this evening. I walked from the crazy golf for about 10 min as far as the Irish Times and couldn't find it. The feckin sweat was pumping off me. Never known Tenerife to be so hot. Can anyone give this idiot simple directions?

Keep going for another 200 yds after the Times, you go down some steps with a disabled ramp next to it, it's along there on the left opposite a big semi-circular apartment the locals stay in.

200 calories in a pint Dermot, who needs food? And even more in a can of coke and an ice cream so them kiddies wont care. That eat as much as you can Chinese we went to was good, about 200 odd metres north of the Las Amaricas marina, along pedsestrianised road. On the right.

Re: The Olive Garden, Los Cristianos
We went to the Olive Garden in the end. Major disappointment. How it is rated as being in the top ten restaurants in Los Cris is beyond me. As a certain chef said, it was like as if they gave up half way through. I'm not saying that it was bad, just that it is no better or worse than the plethora of restaurants available in southern Tenerife.
