Pride of Lionesses

Heyup peeps, our girls have made it to the quarter finals of the World Cup! Came from 1 down to beat Norway last night 2-1.   Shown up the England mens team good and proper, these lionesses are HUNGRY. Not a suntan in sight either, hmmmm. Also watched the USA Columbia match afterwards, some impressive skills on display I kid you not. The USA girls seem to be of mainly German stock judging by their names and looks, no armpits on show though so I couldnt be sure.   Germany v France on Friday and our girls v Canada the hosts very late Saturday night. Minty can watch it in the pub.
Well done girls.

I watched it, Vince, first half a bit boring then just before half time Norway scored.  I thought bugger but had nowt better to do so stuck with it.  It was good stuff. 

So what BBC channel can I see it on then?

1,2,3 or 4. Various. Or is BBC Scotland different? Holland v Japan is on at 3am tonight. I may not catch that one.   Glad you enjoyed it Meryl. My daughter is a football coach. She gets free tickets to some England games. Not World Cup ones though........

I turned over onto BBC4 when the game finished. They were showing all the number one hits from the last 60 years from old grey whistle test and top of the pops. Missed some of it obviously but all brilliant. Many of my favourite Karaoke songs on there............ Jeez, if BBC carries on pleasing me this much I may buy a licence......

Girls are good

Make up.   Gordon Banks had an eye problem, we even have a player called Mooore........   I have left the mistake in, its quite funny. My mind is drifting back to '66. Anyway well done girls, 2 goals in 3 minutes, you showed em.

My mind has been busy today and I have decided that seeing as our girls are bang good and the men are crap we should embark on a breeding program. Now to be fair they are not the best looking birds about are they but Ryan Giggs, John Terry and Peter Crouch dont seem to be that fussy, indeed dont seem to care at all, and we can find a blue rinse for one of the blondes for Wayne Rooney.    The geordie bird Houghton would be great for Gazza as they could even communicate with each other..... 
Of course there may be one or two lesbians in the team but I'm sure we can find a couple of wankers in the England team to knock one out into a test tube. Er, and no suntans obviously.

i wasatching that interview with gazza and claire balding. he sounds pissed all the time. I didn't understand half what he said. something about an ostrich i think.
