Tonight is the first semi-final. USA v Germany. In my opinion the Yanks have the best team however you should never underestimate the Germans. Kick off is at midnight. Tomorrow it is England v Japan semi, kick off is again at midnight. Final is on Monday. 3rd/4th place play-off Sunday.

Devastated. We didnt deserve that. From 15 minutes in we dominated that game. Cruel indeed. However I am immensley proud of their achievement, from rank outsiders to semifinalists. Well done girls. 
We still have the third/fourth play off game to come though, against the old enemy as Rachel Yankee said.
Hopefully the girls will gather themselves for that challenge and give as good a display as they have done so far in the tournament.This match is now on Saturday at 9pm, which is the 3rd time change from the BBC website.

I caught the end of it. Horrible way to lose. You'd nearly prefer penalties. Also, it was a better spectacle than the feckin men's game. none of this pretend injurys shite.

The Russian linesman didnt like Krauts. 
I watched the third place playoff of course on Saturday and was well impressed with out girls performance. Such a shame we never got to play the Yanks in the final but never mind, those girls fear nowt. Laughed my head off when they went 4=-0 up against the Japs, justice served.
