Oban Fireworks Hitch.
Due to a technical fault the Oban firework display which was supposed to last half an hour with a musical accompaniment, somehow set off all the foreworks at once and lasted only a minute. I feel sorry for a lot of the people there as Oban is the main town for miles around and a lot of people would have had to travel a large distance to attend the show.

Re: Oban Fireworks Hitch.
Remember when we were young? Council had nothing to do with it. The young kids went out weeks before, hunting for anything made of wood that wasn't nailed down, so they could make a bonfire. A "Guy" was then made out of old clothes and straw and put in some poor un-suspecting mother's good pram and wheeled round the streets with 2 or 3 kids begging everybody for "A penny for the Guy!" Proceeds from that went to buy fireworks and all the locals from that area went along to watch. We used to put spuds in the dying embers for something to eat later on.
Changed days now.

I got the cops to my door one time. We nicked all the wood off a brand new fence in the middle of nowhere. Cops knew where to look though.

Fill beer bottles up with petrol and sugar and lob them at fire.

Could be the musical accompaniment is too fast try a slow beat.
