Los Olivos/Adeje Village

Are the two places the same i.e. running into one another?

Adeje is higher being the original town and more housing for locals ...
Los Olivos is off the motorway and the normal deja vu housing 
its the same area ,but separate from Deadwood,so not going to bump into so many untermensch
prices will be double from down to up

As said Adeje is up the hill and at the bottom of the hill is Los Olivos, I know a man who lives in LO, he should be able to give you the definitive definition of where one starts and one ends. 

Wrong about prices, dearer to buy and rent in Los Olivos......we have had terrible internet here since start of bad weather, had to get on do business stuff when I could, so not been on here. There is also Los Nieves whichis all part of same.

yes your right ,i wrote it late at night . the rule in tenerife is TOURISTS AT THE BOTTOM 
NEXT LAYER WINTER RENTERS , then BRIT OAP OWNERS then workers,locals then spanish landowners
you will pay DOUBLE at the BOTTOM compared to the TOP
my farmhouse with land is worth same as a studio on the coast i can see from the garden and is 20 mins drive in a car ...

with the collapse of the russian trsde ,and if ENGLAND leaves the EU prices in Deadwood will drop very far ....

who is you provider? , we only use TELEFONICA for our customers ,who now offer 20mb copper for €21 .
i have two who were with europa and are using our portal but europa internet still (being switched over to TELEFONICA this week)
and both found their internet unusable last night ..otherwise i have a green light across my dashboard ..the copper legacy network is being phased out in spain as a rapid rate ,and de jure TELEFONICA are closing it down ,and we expect a de facto legal five years notice soon ...but with building worth billions of euros as a windfall
i can see them closing it early and paying the fine ...

you are talking FIXED LINE INTERNET from TELEFONICA (movistar) connnected via ETHERNET and not wifi ??

Both, well wifi mainly, no bar can sustain a wifi connection for more than  a few mins,everyone suffering trying to use wifi and many places losing fixed just very bad but I would say for me its wifi as I only use wifi, I have free wifi all around me never any problems. Just last few days been awful. Same though for anyone I talk to, most just dont bother.

you had problems last summer as well didn't you?

i just checked on my dashboard and i dont have a single red light on our boxes in the area ,but we dont use WIFI .
if you want to have a internet that works,then you need a FIXED INTERNET CONNECTION and then get a WIFI adapter using 5GHz 802.11n and 802.11ac.(TP-Link repeater/range extender)
every tom,dick and pedro and along with the pirate systems is using the limited 2.4mhz network .
with TELEFONICA offering 20mb for €20 a month ive no idea why anyone bothers with ´free´ wifi ..

only ever get problems in bad weather Dermo, it is not exactly free wifi PaulJust that some places like our ours we share wifi.It may well be telephonica Iam waiting for the fibre optics to be ready, they just put the lines in.

A TELEFONICA line+adsl of 20mb with FREE MOBILE PHONE CONTRACT AND FREE CALLS is €43 a month (UKtv via ZKTV is from €8 for 60 channels)
it seem to be a brit thing to wait till fibra optica come ,but as starting price is still €43 for 30mb f.o ,then i cant see what advantage you will get .MOST places will have FFTC that is the fibra optica will go to their road and drop down to copper from there to the house giving VDSL2 of 50mb . those in blocks of flats will have FTTH ,but again they will mostly use copper inside the house .so a max of 100mb . only NEW BUILDS will have f.o . in them (those with permits before the new regs still will not even if on hold due to downturn)
WIFI is just RADIO and the same freq as used for old cordless headphones ,so if you have a pair of them wander around and think would i want to be using this ?? . unlike the uk where most people live in very old brick and wood housing ,all the new build has concrete floor which act as a

a spanish edif in la laguna will have 100 families 24/7 of maybe 4-5 phone users ,spending €150 a month so income of €180,000 a year
if there are 100 flats in your building how many have 4 phone users 24/7 365 ..not many , CONNECTION FROM THE ROAD TO YOUR FLAT IS A PRIVATE MATTER and would only be carried out after the community agree to pay the costs . in la Laguna they would just go round the flats get say 50% of the flats to sign up and then get on with the work . I have people living in 70s sea-sand shacks that cant get a fixed phone as it would cost thousands to install .

Fibra optic for me all day mate

yes electric maglev car travel is the best (fibra) ,but im not going to walk in the rain waiting for it (wifi) ...and as i said unless you can get the community to PAY FOR ITS INSTALL IN YOUR BLOCK OF FLATS THEN YOU WONT GET IT .

Our community have already agreed as only 6 of us and we are all good friends.

i did not know that TELEFONICA were at that stage of offering installs of F.O yet ??
