Help using forum with an ipad

I have Carol staying with me and she has just logged on to join in this forum.  This is the view she gets from her ipad.  We have tried to get to the home  page, and don´t know how.  Doesn´t seem to exist.  There is also no list of topics to choose, only e.g. last post from Adam Mint, and when she gets into it it is the first page of a topic so there could be 600 pages for her to skim through before she can get there.

What is a quick way of her to get up to date.

How many showers does she have in your place?  Day 2 here and now going for a bath, that's one every day.  We limit ours to one a week whether we need it or not.

She did mention sharing with Ben but then i thought the screen and taps will be off the wall

That's the screen I get everytime I log in, up untill a about year or so back I allways got the "Classic Version", then for some reason it changed to the one above, I did post about it at the time asking if there was some setting I'd screwed up somehow, I also pointed out it was not very user friendly and any new members like your friend would not be very impressed with the forum if that's what they see on their first visit, could be why we don't here much from new members...

Now she has managed to change to classic view she is OK, but we have gone through adding a picture about 10 times and it just won´t accept it.  All we see after uploading then copying the link to the little picture icon is a square on the page and the image has vanished.  Bloody frustrating.

I copy the link it gives you to the photo and paste that...
