Rock around the clock sold a million copies in 1954 ,saw Bill Haley & the comets in 1974/75 at the Fiesta in Stockton on Tees .Happy days x

As a kid we went on a school trip to Pitlochry, train up to Pitlochry, walk over the dam and down the salmon stairway then down the side of the river crossing it via the suspension bridge pictured below and back in to Pitlochry to get the train back,,, there were hundreds of us from all the schools in the area, we get to the suspension bridge, we start deliberately swaying it from side to side, jumping up and down, had it going all over the place, teachers were going mental at us, and the more they went mental the more we did it...
In hindsight teachers probably had it right, suppose it was a bit dangerous...

That's the footbridge at Port-na-Craig. It's covered in them feckin' love padlock doodahs now...

Those feckin' padlocks are causing structural damage to some bridges. The famous one in Venice that i cant remember the name of, has been damaged.
